This notice explains how SC Classic SRL processes personal data collected through the website and contact enquiries. Updated on 8 September 2026.
Data controller and contact details
The data controller is SC Classic SRL, VAT No. 09348260960, with operational premises at Via 25 Aprile 59, Cambiago (MI). For information or to exercise your rights, email info@scclassic.it.
Restoration, advice and information enquiries
We process the data you choose to send: name, email address, optional telephone number, requested service, car model and year, message and any photographs. We use this information to respond, assess your enquiry and prepare the technical or commercial discussion you have requested. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Required fields allow us to understand and respond to your enquiry; the form cannot be submitted without them. Your telephone number, car details and attachments are optional. Please do not include identity documents or personal information that is unnecessary for assessing the car.
Enquiries are recorded in a restricted administrative area and notified to the company mailbox. Attached photographs are not published in the website gallery. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to newsletters or promotional campaigns.
Browsing and security
The technical infrastructure processes the data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as connection information, server requests and security logs. The form uses controls against automated and duplicate submissions. This processing serves the controller's legitimate interest in security and continuity of service, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Analytics only with consent
On the final website, we use Google Analytics 4 only after a positive choice in the cookie panel. The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Refusing does not restrict browsing the website or sending enquiries.
Measurement covers pages visited, technical browser data and contact interactions. Configured events do not transmit your name, email address, telephone number, photographs or message text. Page addresses sent by the website have additional parameters and fragments removed. Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals are not enabled.
You can withdraw consent using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. The Cookie Policy describes the tools, retention periods and how to make your choice.
Retention
Enquiries and attachments are retained for as long as needed to handle the assessment, follow-up and resulting relationship. For enquiries that go no further, the need for retention depends on the conclusion of discussions and any need to document agreements or disputes. Documents relevant to an assignment, administrative obligations or the protection of a right are retained for the period required by that purpose and applicable law.
In Google Analytics, detailed event data retention is set to 2 months and user data retention to 14 months, without resetting the expiry with each new activity. These limits do not apply to most standard aggregated reports. Your cookie preference remains in the browser for six months; other device storage periods are stated in the Cookie Policy.
Recipients and service providers
Enquiries are accessed by people authorised by SC Classic to handle them. Technical providers include Hostinger for hosting and email and Google for analytics, when authorised. Any technical support providers process data only as needed for the service and in accordance with their applicable role. Contact details and form attachments are not intended for public disclosure.
External services and transfers
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps open external services at your initiative, subject to their respective privacy notices. Google may process data through infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. The terms and safeguards declared by the provider are described in Google's international transfer policies. You can also consult Google's information about sites that use its services.
Your rights
Where provided for by the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent to analytics. Email info@scclassic.it stating your request; proportionate information may be needed to verify its origin.
You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority. The website does not make decisions with legal effects on you through solely automated processes.
Photographs sent with an enquiry
Attaching photographs of the car is optional. The form accepts up to three JPEG, PNG or WebP images, with a maximum size of 2 MB each. Photographs help us understand and handle the enquiry; they are not automatically published on the website.
Attachments are retained with the enquiry in a restricted archive, separate from the public image library. Downloads from the website are restricted to authorised administrators. You can request clarification or deletion by emailing info@scclassic.it, subject to any applicable obligations.
Information sent through the form
Alongside contact details and your message, the form may collect the car's model and year and the website page from which the enquiry originates. Telephone number, year, model and photographs are optional. You do not need to send identity documents for an initial enquiry.
