Volkswagen T2a Minibus — 1967
Non-binding enquiry. Available documentation and appointments must be confirmed with SC Classic.

SC Classic offers this 1967 Volkswagen T2 Bus, one of the first examples of the Transporter’s second generation. Volkswagen introduced the T2 in August 1967: the new front end with its curved windscreen, the roomier cabin and the sliding side door fitted as standard marked the move from the celebrated T1 to the new generation.
This example retains the authentic character it has acquired over time. The white bodywork and original beige interior are in preserved condition, with finishes and patina consistent with its age. The original Italian number plates are present.
The engine is a 1600 cc petrol unit producing 35 kW, approximately 48 hp. It is not the original unit: it was replaced at a Volkswagen dealership at the time with an engine correct for the model and specification, a detail we state transparently.
Four-speed manual gearbox and left-hand drive. An interesting proposition for anyone seeking an authentic first-series T2, not altered by a full restoration and still rich in its own history.
